Pending Illinois CED Benefit Corporation
Now that legislation has been passed, we are in the process of inviting individuals, non-profit organizations and companies involved in any facet of Community Economic Development and who live in and or have interests in the State of Illinois to join with us in establishing a CED Benefit Corporation in the State. Im delighted to announce that the first meeting of the Illinois
Task Force on Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise,
which I am honored to chair, will be held at 4 p.m. on August 22.
The meeting will take place in Room 9-039 of the James R. Thompson
Center, 100 W. Randolph Street, Chicago. The public is encouraged to
attend and provide input.
