Arleen
Schmaltz and Charles Betterton, co-founders of Center Space (the
Centre for Spiritual, Personal and Community Empowerment) and
the University for Successful Living, are conducting several
workshops in The Bahamas during the week of February 5 - 12.
They are visiting the country to explore possible sites and
meet with potential co-creators of a Center Space facility in The Bahamas.
On
Sunday, February 8, Ms Schmaltz will be speaking at Unity Church
of The Bahamas morning Service. That evening Arleen and Charles
will facilitate their work- shop on Partnership Agreement With
the Lord, also· at Unity Church from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and
will also facilitate the workshop “Developing Spiritually
Centered New Year's Resolutions” - February 10th from 7:00 to
9:00 p.m. at Unity Church, East Avenue, Centerville (one
building north of Centerville food store).
Ms. Schmaltz is a Licensed Unity Teacher, a Lay Minister and
Acting Associate Pastor at Unity Church of Anderson, Indiana.
She also serves as the Project Coordinator for EAGLES, a Limited
Liability Company involved in
Empowerment, Achievement, Growth, Leadership,
Enlightenment and Success, Arleen. has created a number of
spiritually oriented seminars and workshops, two meditation and
relaxation tapes, and she is currently working on her first
book, Getting To Know You! Arleen is a member of the USL
speakers association and a graduate of Toastmasters
International.
Charles
Betterton, co-founder and President of Center Space and the
University for Successful Living has over twenty-five years of
administrative experience in community, organizational
and economic.. development including twelve years with the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development· and ten years as
Executive Director of non-profit organizations involved in
spiritual, personal, organizational and community development.
He has a Masters degree in Community Economic Development and is
the author of Personal and Professional Success Techniques
Seminar, Motivision: 21 Steps to Successful Living, The Ultimate
Life Empowerment Planning System, and Developing a Partnership
Agreement with the Lord.
The
shared mission statement for Center Space, the University for
Successful Living and EAGLES is to help individuals, families,
organizations and communities to realize more of their God-given
potential by helping them see, believe and achieve all they can
be, do and have.
This spiritual, personal, organizational and community
empowerment is fostered through an international network of
locally initiated programs and facilities designed to provide
whatever type and level of resources are determined to be most
appropriate for local situations.
Charles and Arleen will be meeting with individuals and
organizations who are interested in exploring how these
resources for spiritual, personal and community development and
empowerment might be provided through a Center for Successful
Living in the Bahamas.
