Dear
Rick:
My
business
partner
Genii
Townsend
and I
would
like to
offer
our
support
of Camp
Soaring
Eagle in
at least
these
five
possible
ways:
(1) As
two of
the
co-founders
of the
non-profit
Ultimate
Destiny
University,
we are
holding
our
first
resource
showcase
at the
Creative
Life
Center
on
November
18. I
have
attached
a two
page
flier
that
describes
the
event
and it
is
available
from a
link at
www.ultimatedestinyuniversity.com/sedona_playshop.htm.
We have
set the
ticket
prices
from $47
to $7,
depending
upon
what
discounts
someone
is
eligible
for such
as
Senior,
Student,
a new
subscriber
to our
free
electronic
newsletter,
etc. If
you
accept
our
offer
and
invite
your
members
and
supporters
to
attend
our
event,
we would
donate
back
100% of
any
sales to
the
Camp.
(2) As a
community
economic
development
specialist,
I have
facilitated
a 10
Step
Co-creative
Visioning
and
Strategic
Planning
process
for
non-profit
organizations,
chambers
of
commerce,
cities,
counties
and
businesses.
I have
been
paid up
to
$25,000
to
provide
the full
range of
possible
services.
If your
board is
interested
in
exploring
the
possibility,
we would
donate
our time
and
energy
to help
determine
which of
the 10
components
would be
most
valuable
to your
organization,
assist
in
shaping
an
outline
and
agenda
for a 4
to 6
hour
retreat
and then
facilitate
that
process.
In
return,
we would
ask that
you
cover
any
costs
for a
facility
(if
needed),
possibly
a lunch
depending
on the
time of
day and
length
of the
event)
and our
cost for
materials
such as
flip
chart
pads,
markers,
workshop
materials,
etc.
Because
we are
presently
in the
process
of
launching
several
non-profit
projects
in the
area, we
would
also
appreciate
any
positive
feedback
and
introduction
to your
supporters
as a
major
contributor
to your
future
success
as the
results
of our
donations
produce
positive
results
for Camp
Soaring
Eagle.
(3) When
the camp
is
established,
Genii
would
love to
provide
puppet
and
marionette
shows
for the
children
and
their
families.
She
owned
and
operated
Geniiland
near
Hollywood
for
about 18
years
which
was a
favorite
place
for
children's
birthday
parties,
especially
for
celebrities.
Genii
has also
developed
several
classes
that
help
youth
learn
about
creative
design,
production
of
performances,
etc. and
she has
donated
her
services
to the
Boys and
Girls
Club, to
Big Park
School,
the
Desert
Star
Waldorf
school,
the
library's
children's
center,
etc. (As
I read
this
draft
message
to
Genii,
she
asked me
to
emphasize
that she
would
love to
help
teach
your
children
with her
special
skills
as a
master
marionette
artist.)
(4)
Genii is
presently
creating
a
special
marionette
of Jane
Seymour
that she
will
donate
as a
fundraiser
to help
support
Camp
Soaring
Eagle.
She has
created
over
5,000
marionettes,
many of
them of
celebrities
that she
has
donated
to
support
non-profit
organizations
as
described
at
Celebrity
and
Empowerment
Marionettes.
(5) We
may also
be able
to help
generate
funding
for Camp
Soaring
Eagle
when we
produce
events
next
spring
with Ron
Heagy
http://www.ronheagy.com/page/page/933283.htm
and Les
Brown,
one of
the top
motivational
trainers
in the
world.
Here is
one of
the
amazing
paintings
of
eagles
Ron has
created
painting
with a
paintbrush
held in
his
mouth.
He is
one of
the most
inspiring
presenters
I have
ever
experienced
in over
40 years
of
attending
motivational
programs
and over
15 years
of
producing
major
events.
I have
produced
youth
and
community
empowerment
events
for up
to 1,800
people
with Les
Brown
(and
several
other
world-class
trainers
such as
Norman
Vincent
Peale,
Brian
Tracy,
Jim Rohn,
Mark
Victor
Hansen,
Bonnie
St.
John,
etc.)
since
1990.
The
project
that I
developed
using
$24,000
of a
grant of
$250,000
that I
obtained
for the
Muncie,
Indiana
Public
Housing
Authority
to
produce
a Youth
Success
Center
Partnership
with Les
Brown
won
awards
from the
U.S.
Department
of
Housing
and
Urban
Development
and the
National
Association
of
Housing
and
Redevelopment
Officials.
There is
a
newspaper
article
on the
Muncie
youth
empowerment
program
at
http://www.candoresourcecenter.com/say_yes_to_success.htm.
At the
bottom
of that
page is
a link
to the
empowerment
marionettes
that
Genii
Townsend
is
helping
us
create
as part
of our
programs
to help
children
learn
how to
use
their
creative
imagination
and
realize
more of
their
potential
http://candoresourcecenter.com/empowerment_marionettes.htm.
Perhaps
when we
bring
Ron
Heagy
and Les
Brown
into
Sedona,
your
organization
might
serve as
one of
the
beneficiaries,
Imagine
That! as
Genii
would
say.
In
addition
to the
Ultimate
Destiny
University
playshops
and
resource
showcases,
we are
planning
to
introduce
several
community
development
and
empowerment
programs
at our
event on
the
18th.
Some of
them are
described
at
www.seedonow.com
Our
first
priority
is
ensuring
the
success
of our
November
18th
event.
In the
meantime,
I could
provide
a set of
the
exercises
and
forms we
use in
our
visioning
and
strategic
planning
process
and an
example
of a
highly
successful
project
for the
United
Way of
Oneida
County,
New York
if you
think
there
may be
any
interest
Congratulations
to Max
and all
of your
team for
bringing
forth
this
amazing
resource
for
special
children
and
their
families.
Sincerely,
Charles
